Goof Off^® Rust Stain Remover for the Bathroom Directions:

The no-mess spray gel formula dissolves rust stains on contact! Use it to clean: tile, stainless steel, chrome, porcelain, fiberglass, glass, concrete and brick.

1. Wearing rubber gloves, spray directly on the rust stain
2. Let stand for 20 - 30 seconds
3. Wipe area with wet cloth, rinse or dispose of cloth                  

NOTE: Every surface is different, so always apply on an inconspicuous area before using. Will etch glass, glazed tile and porcelain if not rinsed immediately after the stain is removed. May etch some older or worn porcelain tubs and sinks or ceramic tile. Do not use on paints, stains or bricks containing iron oxide pigments (red colorant). Do not use on natural marble, stone or terrazzo. RInse immediately if product contacts metal-plated fixtures as metal finish can be removed.

WARNING: SEVERE EYE IRRITANT, SKIN IRRITANT, HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED. Contains Oxalic Acid and Hydrofluoric Acid. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid breathing vapors and mist. Do not ingest. Wear gloves when using this product.

FIRST AID: For eye contact, flush thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes, removing any contact lenses and get immediate medical attention. For skin contact, wash with soap and water. If irritation persists, get medical attention. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Drink several glasses of water and get immediate medical attention.

Goof Off^® Rust Stain Toilet Tabs Directions:

1. For best results, thoroughly clean toilet bowl and under rim
2. Tear open pouch and flush toilet.  Before tank refills, drop 1 tablet into the right rear corner of the tank.  Do not touch tablet.
3. Wait 10 minutes before flushing toilet again.
4. Use new tablet every 45 days or when stains reappear.

NOTE: For use in toilet tanks only.  Do not mix with bleach or any other household cleaner.  Do not use with other in-tank cleaners.

CAUTION: EYE IRRITANT.  HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED.  Contains: Sodium Hydrosulfite and Cocomonoethanolamide.  Avoid contact with eyes and skin.  Do not ingest.

How do I apply Goof Off® Rust Stain Remover?
Spray undiluted product directly on to the rust stain. Allow to work until stain disappears and then rinse off thoroughly. Some rust stains are deeper and stronger. For persistent stains, reapply the product to keep it wet and active till stain disappears.

I need to remove rust/corrosion from metal surfaces. How do I apply Goof Off® Rust Stain Remover for this application?
No, this isn’t recommended. Goof Off® Rust Stain Remover is an acid product and will cause more rust.

Can I use Goof Off® Rust Stain Remover to clean out my hot water tank?
No, this is not recommended.

Great product! Removes outdoor rust stains caused by well water sprinklers, as advertised. Product should be better marketed! When shopping at Home Depot and Lowes we asked for a recommendation for an outdoor rust stain remover and your wonderful product was never recommended even though it was right there on display. (Sales people did not know it existed). Only CLR was suggested. That product does not work. My wife found Goof Off Rust Stain Remover at Lowes while checking other rust removers in the same area of the store. Glad we selected your product!
